1
Helps defend your skin every day from UVA/UVB rays that contribute to photoaging, dark spots, and loss of elasticity, making sunscreen a true anti‑ageing step in your routine.
2
Mandelic acid, one of the gentlest AHAs. Its larger molecule penetrates more slowly and more evenly, which is why it suits even skin that can't tolerate stronger acids.

Melanin is the skin's defense mechanism. When you're exposed to the sun, your cells produce more of it to protect themselves — but this doesn't show up right away. It takes weeks to rise to the surface of the epidermis and become a visible spot.
That's why September is the month when most women see something that wasn't there in June. And it's why the next few weeks matter: the sooner you start, the less established the pigment.

No — and this is the most common mistake. The Sunscreen Serum belongs to your morning routine and the Mandelicum to your evening one. Using an acid at night and antioxidant protection during the day is what makes the pair work: they cover the two halves of the 24-hour cycle rather than competing for the same one.
Mandelic acid is one of the gentlest AHAs available. Its molecule is larger than glycolic acid's, so it penetrates more slowly and more evenly, which is why it's often recommended for skin that reacts to stronger acids. That said, start with twice a week and patch test on a small area first. If you have a diagnosed skin condition, or if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your doctor before using any acid.
Give it 6–8 weeks of consistent use. Skin renewal follows its own timeline and there's no shortcut — pigment that took a summer to form doesn't lift in two weeks. Most people notice changes in overall evenness before they notice individual spots fading.
The serum is designed as part of your daily protection, but it works alongside sun-protective habits, not instead of them — shade, hats, and reapplication through the day still matter. This is the step people skip, and it's the one that undoes everything else: whatever you gain overnight, unprotected midday sun can take back.
That's normal and expected. With the schedule we recommend, the Mandelicum lasts longer than the serum because you're using it every other night rather than daily. Simply repurchase the individual product when you need it — you don't have to buy the whole kit again.
