They solve two different problems in two different types of skin. The skin around the eye is extremely thin, has almost no oil glands, and moves constantly — so eye creams are light, fast-absorbing, and formulated to stay put without migrating into the eye. Lip skin has no oil glands at all and no protective barrier layer of its own, so it loses water far faster and needs a richer, more occlusive texture that seals moisture in and repairs the surface. The same formula cannot do both jobs well, which is why we make them separately.

For eye cream, use your ring finger — it applies the least pressure of any finger, which matters on skin this fragile. Take a small amount, warm it briefly, and pat gently along the orbital bone, staying away from the lash line and never applying directly to the eyelid. For lip cream, apply generously across the lips and just past the lip border, where fine vertical lines form — this is the step most routines skip. Use both twice daily, morning and evening, after cleansing.

Most people notice a visible difference within 7 to 10 days. Around the eyes, hydration and a more rested look come first, with fine lines softening gradually after that. On the lips, comfort and smoothness return faster — often within days — because you are repairing a surface rather than reaching deeper layers. That timeframe is by design, not luck: we use a synergy of botanical actives rather than a single isolated ingredient, paired with an absorption technology developed in our own lab.

They are formulated with reactive skin in mind, because our founder has it herself. Every formula is free of parabens, sulfates and PEGs, contains zero alcohol, and is clinically tested for safety, with a microbiology analysis run on each batch. Eye formulas are additionally tested for use in the eye contour, and lip formulas for the fact that they are, inevitably, ingested in small amounts. We use natural fragrances rather than none at all, so if you react to fragrance of any kind, check the full ingredient list — we publish it in full for every product.

Around the eyes: the skin is thin and low in oil, so it loses water quickly; it moves with every blink and squint; and it is where fluid retention and fatigue show first. Sun exposure, screen strain and poor sleep all accelerate it. On the lips: there are no oil glands at all, so there is nothing holding moisture in — cold, wind, dehydration and lip-licking strip the surface faster than it can repair itself. In both cases the answer is not a stronger active, but consistent, well-absorbed hydration applied twice a day, before the lines settle in.
