FAQs

What is normal skin, and how do I know if I have it?

Normal skin produces a balanced amount of oil and holds hydration well, with no persistent dryness, congestion, or reactivity. You most likely have it if your skin feels comfortable rather than tight after cleansing, your pores are visible but not enlarged, breakouts are occasional rather than recurring, and your tone is broadly even. Normal doesn't mean problem-free. It means your barrier is currently doing its job well, and the goal of your routine is to keep it that way.

Does normal skin really need a dedicated skincare routine?

Yes — normal skin needs a routine to protect the balance it already has, because that balance is far easier to lose than it is to rebuild. Sun exposure, pollution, seasonal change, and over-cleansing all work slowly and invisibly, and most people only notice once dullness, dehydration, or the first dark spots have already appeared. The difference is that normal skin needs fewer products, not more. Three well-chosen steps will do more for you than seven.

What should a daily routine for normal skin include?

A normal skin routine needs three steps: a gentle cleanser, a targeted serum, and a moisturiser matched to the time of day. In the morning, the job is protection — antioxidants, hydration, and sun protection to shield the skin through the day. At night, the job is renewal, which is when the most active treatments belong. We build every protocol around a maximum of three products, because a routine you can actually keep is worth more than one you abandon.

How do I know which products in this collection are right for me?

Take the Skin Test — it reads five things about your skin and returns a personalised three-step routine, so you never have to guess. It looks at your skin type, your skin's tendency, the current season, your age, and your sensitivity level. Most brands start by telling you what a product does. We start by finding out what your skin actually needs. It takes a few minutes, and it's free.

Does normal skin need different products in summer and winter?

Yes — normal skin shifts with the seasons, and it needs lighter, more protective care in spring and summer, and richer, more regenerative care in autumn and winter. In warm months, skin leans towards oiliness and needs serums, antioxidants, and daily sun protection. In cold months, it leans towards dehydration and dullness, and needs gentle exfoliation, deeper hydration, and our strongest night treatments. Winter is the regeneration window. Normal skin is the type most likely to drift out of balance unnoticed, precisely because it usually feels "fine".

Can you have normal skin and still react to products?

Yes — sensitivity is a condition, not a skin type, so you can have perfectly balanced normal skin and still react to a formula. Reactions are usually caused by alcohol, harsh cleansing agents, synthetic fragrance, or actives used at aggressive concentrations. Our formulas contain zero alcohol and no parabens, sulfates, or PEGs, and every ingredient list is published in full on our site. Our founder, Chrysanthi, developed these formulas for her own reactive, barrier-compromised skin — which means the tolerance bar was set by the most difficult skin in the room.

How quickly will I see a difference?

Most people see a visible difference within 10 days. For normal skin, that difference usually shows up as glow, smoother texture, and a more even tone rather than the correction of a specific concern. Our botanical actives come from the Greek mountains around Olympus, and we pair them in our own lab with an absorption technology that carries them past the surface into the deeper layers of the skin. Everything is made in small batches, in-house, with pharmaceutical-grade formulation and safety testing behind every formula.
