Accessibility Statement

At DOS Cosmetics, we want everyone to be able to discover, choose and buy our skincare with ease, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation or screen magnification.

Our standard

We aim for our website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This is the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882, transposed in Greece by Law 4994/2022) and widely used in the United States under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Where we are today

Our website partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This means some parts of the site do not yet fully meet the standard. We are working on them step by step.

What we have done

  • A "Skip to content" link so keyboard users can go straight to the main content.
  • Text descriptions (alt text) for our product and page images.
  • Text labels on filters and buttons.
  • Full ingredient lists published as text on our product pages, so they can be read aloud by screen readers.
  • Checkout is provided by Shopify, which maintains its own accessibility programme.

Known limitations we are working on

  • Some icon-only buttons and form fields do not yet have a fully descriptive label for screen readers.
  • Some older images, award logos and promotional banners may not yet have a complete text description.
  • Some third-party tools on our site, such as our Skin Test and booking tools, are provided by external partners and may not fully meet the standard. We are reviewing them with those partners.
