FAQs

How do I know which DOS products are right for my skin?

Take the DOS Skin Test. It reads five things about your skin, your type, your tendency, your sensitivity, your age and the current season, and returns a personalised three-step routine instead of a shelf of products to guess between.

Most brands tell you what a product does and leave you to work out whether you need it. We diagnose first, then recommend. That is the whole reason the test exists.
What does the DOS range include?

The full DOS range covers every step of a complete routine, from cleansing to targeted treatment to day and night moisturising.

You will find cleansers and makeup removers, serums, day creams, night creams, eye and lip creams, oil bases, body care, beauty tools and travel kits. Every formula is developed and manufactured in our own laboratory in Greece, in small batches, using botanical actives from Greek herbs.
Where should I start if I have never used DOS before?

Start with three products, not seven. A cleanser, one targeted treatment and a moisturiser suited to your skin is a complete routine.

We build every recommendation around a maximum of three steps, because a routine you actually follow every day will always outperform a longer one you abandon. The Skin Test will tell you which three, and you can build from there once your skin has settled.
How long does it take to see results?

Most people see a visible difference within 10 days of consistent daily use.

That timeline is by design, not luck. Our formulas are built at meaningful active concentrations and use our own delivery technology to help those actives reach deeper skin layers. Some concerns move faster than others. Hydration and radiance tend to show first, while pigmentation and dark spots are the slowest to shift and need patience beyond the first ten days.
What is in DOS formulas, and what is left out?

Every DOS formula is built on botanical actives from Greek herbs, and every full ingredient list is published on the product page.

Our formulas are free from parabens, sulfates, PEGs and alcohol. Fragrance comes from natural sources, never synthetic. Nothing is tested on animals. Every formula is produced under GMP conditions in our own lab, undergoes microbiology analysis and is clinically tested for safety.
Who makes DOS Cosmetics, and where?

DOS is a Greek family business that formulates and manufactures everything in its own laboratory. Nothing is outsourced.

The brand began with our founder Chrysanthi's own reactive, barrier-compromised skin. After years of trying pharmacy and prestige brands without success, she turned to her father, a compounding pharmacist, and spent years researching Greek botanicals until she built formulas that finally worked on her own face. That is still how every product starts.
Do I need different products in summer and winter?

Yes. Your skin's needs change with the season, and your routine should change with it.

Warmer months call for lighter textures, serums and stronger antioxidant protection. Colder months are the regeneration window, when skin responds best to gentle exfoliation, deeper hydration and our richest night treatments. The Skin Test factors in the current season, so the routine it returns is the one your skin needs now, not in six months.
